Soundcloud is pretty cool for music exploration!
I just got an account on soundcloud.com. It is a pretty cool social website allow music creators to share their music with a large audience. The listeners can stream music they like and create sets or playlists that they like and they can share the music and sets on other social media. As far as I can tell the creator’s copyright is protected and preserved.
I have already found a few well known music makers on it like Amanda Palmer and Paul Simon and Massive Attack (how different can you get). Artists apparently sometimes publish just clips of their music to find out if people like it.
Amazing to me, there is another Cy Ball already on it. He does completely different things than I do and he does not look like me at all (good for him!)
I have loaded all the music on this site to soundcloud.com. This is the link to me: https://soundcloud.com/cyball.
If you just search for Cy Ball on it, you will find both of us.
Happy 2013 to everyone!

A second Cy Ball falls within probability, but a second musician is a real stretch. (The first Michael Alan Fox who comes up on Google is a sex offender in Texas, and I hope people aren’t confused.)
another Cy, that is scary!
